Terms and Conditions: Goodyz Global Logistics

By registering for a shipping account or utilizing the services of Goodyz Global Logistics, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Scope and Agency

Goodyz Global Logistics acts as a facilitator and shipping agent. We are responsible for coordinating the transport and customs clearance of goods from the United States to Jamaica. We are not the manufacturer or seller of the products you ship.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Accurate Information: You must provide accurate registration details, including your full name, shipping address, and contact information.
Documentation: Every shipment must be accompanied by a valid commercial invoice. Failure to provide accurate invoices may lead to delays, fines, or customs seizures, for which you will be held liable.
Right to Inspect: Goodyz Global Logistics reserves the right to inspect any package to ensure compliance with Jamaican import laws and internal safety policies.

3. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Compliance with Customs: The Customer is strictly prohibited from shipping any items classified as "Prohibited" by the Jamaica Customs Agency. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review our published "Prohibited & Restricted Items" list before shipping.
Permits & Licenses: For items requiring a permit (e.g., pharmaceuticals, electronics, agricultural products), the Customer must obtain the necessary authorization from the relevant Ministry or Agency (e.g., Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health) prior to the item’s arrival in Jamaica.
Seizure & Liability: Goodyz Global Logistics shall not be held liable for the seizure, destruction, or detention of goods by Customs authorities if the items are found to be prohibited or lack required permits. Any fines, storage fees, or costs incurred due to non-compliance will be charged to the Customer.

4. Payment, Duties, and Taxes

Costs: You are responsible for all freight charges, handling fees, and storage costs.
Customs: All applicable Jamaican customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the Customer and are separate from our shipping rates.
Collection: All outstanding packages must be paid for and collected in the order of their arrival. Packages not collected within 30 days may be subject to storage fees or disposal in accordance with local regulations.

5. Limitation of Liability

Third-Party Carriers: Goodyz Global Logistics is not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party carriers, merchants, or customs authorities.
Packaging: Proper packaging is the sole responsibility of the shipper/merchant. We are not responsible for damage to fragile or improperly packaged items.
Exclusions: We are not liable for events beyond our control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, civil unrest, or government actions.

6. Claims and Indemnification

Claims: Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing with proof of purchase (invoice), tracking number, and photos of the damage (if applicable).
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Goodyz Global Logistics, its directors, and employees from any penalties, fines, or legal costs arising from inaccurate declarations, unlawful goods, or violations of trade laws.

7. Delivery Policy

Scheduled Delivery: Free delivery is provided in designated zones on scheduled days as advertised.
Address Accuracy: We are not responsible for delivery failures resulting from incorrect address information provided by the Customer.
Island-wide: Island-wide delivery via third-party services (e.g., Knutsford Express) is subject to their terms, and the Customer is responsible for any associated transit fees.
